Minister opens MyCSP’s MyInnovation Centre and training services

12 Nov 2012

The Minister for the Cabinet Office, Francis Maude, today marked the opening of MyCSP's MyInnovation Centre in Liverpool, and the launch of MyCSP’s training services.

The service, which is also available in sites across the UK including customers’ own premises, has already received over 60 enquiries (30% of the client base) and multiple bookings from civil service employers as well as the wider pensions community in the public sector.

Phil Bartlett, MyCSP’s CEO says,

"MyCSP stand for delighted customers and I am enormously proud of MyCSP’s MyInnovation Centre and training services, and the level of interest we have. At MyCSP we are going the extra mile to help our customers by supporting their ongoing learning about pensions."

Following the launch of MyCSP, the first mutual joint venture to spin out of central Government in May, MyCSP is quickly evolving to meet client requirements, within an environment of pension reforms and the need to change the way things are done. Our training service covers a range of subjects including courses on pensions reform and other legislative changes.

The training service has the agility to respond quickly to customer need. We asked our customers how we could support them on auto-enrolment and responded with the MyCSP Auto-Enrolment course.

Customer feedback on MyCSP is very encouraging,

"…I advise employers to speak to MyCSP early in their auto-enrolment planning…"

"…We are pleased with the quality and accuracy of advice…"

"…MyCSP was professional and extremely helpful…"

The MyInnovation Centre in Liverpool recently hosted PRIME, the Prince’s Initiative for Mature Enterprise, supporting business creation by the over 50's.

Terry King PRIME Development Manager says,

"I/PRIME would love to thank MyCSP for their support of HRH Prince of Wales Charity which helps the over 50's consider self-employment as an alternative. Great accommodation as well as refreshments, Corporate Social Responsibility in action from a new mutual organisation."
