MyCSP appoints new Chairman
27 Feb 2014
MyCSP, the ground breaking mutual joint venture providing pensions administration for the country’s best known public sector organisations, has appointed Nick Caplan as Chairman.
Nick will take up the role on 1 March 2014, following on from Lord Hutton of Furness who steered the organisation through its transition from the public sector into the vibrant company it is today.
With more than twenty years track record in financial services and technology sectors, Nick has gained management experience both in new ventures and in substantial corporate businesses and he is well placed to lead MyCSP’s strategy for growth.
Nick is also independent chairman at the Faster Payments Scheme and Managed Networks and has an executive role as CEO of a business accelerator. Previously, he was chief marketing officer of Logica, the £3.3bn turnover IT services company.
Nicky Hurst, CEO, MyCSP, said: “We are delighted that Nick is joining the business. He is a highly experienced professional with a fantastic track-record of driving strategic growth and innovation. I am looking forward very much to working closely with him as we take MyCSP to the next stage of its development.”
Nick Caplan said: “In the first two years MyCSP has already completed an unprecedented transition from public sector ownership to a mutual service provider. With revenues now of more than £40 million, MyCSP has already achieved many of the operational changes necessary to reduce costs and enhance service performance for its customers. I’m looking forward immensely to contributing to MyCSP’s continuing success by providing support and strategic guidance as the company continues to evolve.”Back to news
