MyCSP employees walk through the night for St. Ann’s Hospice

8 May 2018

10 local MyCSP employees took part in Manchester’s Midnight Walk to raise funds for St. Ann’s Hospice which supports those with life limiting illnesses and their families.

The 10km Midnight Walk took place on 27 April 2018 throughout Manchester. Whilst many walkers took part in memory of lost loved ones, other participants got involved for a night of fun and fundraising.

As one of the oldest adult hospices in the country, St. Ann’s holds fundraising events throughout the year in order to provide services that are completely free of charge to its patients and their families.

MyCSP employees raised nearly £1,000 with £600 being donated by MyCSP’s community fund.

Amy Eden from MyCSP who took part in the walk said “We wanted to do something together that all ages and abilities can take part in. St Ann’s Hospice is local to our office and has provided support for colleagues and their families, so we wanted to give something back.”

David Boardman, Director of Customer Excellence, MyCSP said “It was super to see so many of our employees taking part in the Midnight Walk.  We’re very aware of the difference St Ann’s Hospice makes to the lives of people suffering debilitating illnesses, so this is a fundraising cause all of us at MyCSP were keen to support.”
