MyCSP successfully reassessed for industry cyber standard

21 Dec 2020

MyCSP, has successfully passed its reassessment for the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. This is a Government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats and is a way of demonstrating that we’re protecting our IT against cyber-attack.

The company was first awarded the accreditation in 2019 and underwent a stringent  process of review prior to successfully passing the reassessment.

Cyber Essentials requires organisations to have a number of technical and procedural controls in place to improve their information security in order to mitigate common internet-borne cyber-attacks. Cyber Essentials Plus is a series of tests that provide a further level of assurance that these technical controls have been successfully implemented within an organisation.

Graham Barnes, MyCSP’s Head of Business Assurance, said; " This accreditation, along with ISO 27001, are contractual obligations required to prove that we’re following best practice and keeping our systems secure and protecting member data. I’m very proud of our achievement which gives confidence to both our customers and members alike. “
