MyCSP announce new Chief Operating Officer and Head of Operations

MyCSP, UK central government’s first mutual joint venture set up to administer the pensions of some 250 current and ex-government departments, has announced the appointment of Ian Merga and Graeme White as part of their business transformation plans to deliver high quality pension administration to their 1.5million members as well as training and employee engagement services to more than 200 clients.

Ian Merga (pictured) has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. A member of the Senior Executive Team, Ian will be responsible for the day-to-day operational processes and procedures within MyCSP Ltd and will ensure that during a period of significant business development and legislative change the business continues to provide a high quality service to its customers and stakeholders.

Ian has worked in the Public sector for over 30 years with the NHS Pensions Agency when in 2004 he was appointed the Director of Corporate Services in the NHS Pensions Agency which administers the NHS Pension Scheme; the largest pension scheme in Western Europe. In April 2007 he also became responsible for Policy, Governance and Injury Benefits where he took a leading role in the successful implementation of the new NHS Pension Scheme which included a Choice exercise for the 1.5 million scheme members.

Reporting to Ian, new recruit Graeme White has been appointed as Head of Operations, Cheadle. Formerly of Mercers, Graeme joins MyCSP this month and will be responsible for overseeing the operational and process management for one of MyCSP’s largest pensions service centres in Cheadle.
